Passion Project

Blindspot

Problem:

Brigham Young University desires young minorities including Black students to experience its university, but they have a blindspot to their results.  As a passion project my team and I created a multimedia campaign sharing the message that students and faculty of BYU have failed to understand about inclusion and diversity.

Target:

“BYU’s Blindspot”

The reality of differences. The Black perspective at BYU.The racial and cultural incompetency of the many unaware students and faculty that attend this campus undermines the college experience for Black students.

Strategy:

“For the culturally unaware who are striving to understand minority experiences, Project Blindspot can change the cultural climate so that everyone can be comfortable in their own skin .”

Big Idea: Your Blindspot Is Our Reality
